Class 3A/1A Driver

Duties:
- Training for and operation of Front-End, Roll-Off, or Side-Load waste and recycling collection equipment as a Full Time Operator; training on equipment is provided.
- Coordination with fellow operators and employees within other departments to ensure maximum efficiency in daily operations.
- Delivery of exceptional customer service to co-workers and customers in accordance with company expectations.
- Container maintenance, equipment maintenance, buildings and facilities work, and other duties as requested, when additional drivers aren’t required.
- Adherence to company, and customer, site safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Class 3A license required (1A preferred) with clear abstract (submit with resume)
- Strong knowledge of Saskatoon and surrounding area
- Minimum 3 years commercial driving experience- short haul/ city experience preferred
- Hydraulic equipment experience, and/or farm background an asset
- Dispatch experience considered an asset
- Able to work both in a team environment and unsupervised
- Excellent logistical and organizational skills
- Good communication skills

Washbay Attendant

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
- Moving and parking trucks safely and in an organized manner
- Washing and organizing tires
- Organizing washbay equipment
- Washing containers, trucks, and floors
- Ensure washbay is kept in clean and safe working condition
- Ensure all containers coming in to the shop are washed and left in a state that is representative of our service levels
- Responsible for prioritizing work, based on communication with operations management staff, operators, mechanical staff, welders, and others to ensure customer expectations for timely service are met
- Report containers needing repair
- Ensure the building is secure and locked at shift end
- Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 2:00pm until 10:30pm.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of operation of forklifts, trucks, and washers necessary for the purpose of the position
- Minimum Class 3A driver’s licence with clean abstract
- Ablility to multi-task
- Ability to learn new tasks quickly
- Ability to work both in a team environment and unsupervised
- Good communication skills
- Physically fit and capable
